Joystick

     

     The first joystick was invented around 1944 in Germany. It was originally made for aircraft to control rockets and missiles. In the 1960s the joystick started to become more widespread in radio controlled model aircraft. The first video game joystick was introduced in 1967, it was able to control in all different types of directions.
