Fighting games is a genre where the player has to control a character and engage in close combat. The game consists on two players or more fighting in some type of arena for a series of rounds. The player has to master blocking and a series of combinations that goes with his choice of character. Fighting games became popular in 1976. Most fighting games take pratice to learn and play, while some you just have to press buttons and cross your fingers for a victory. Fighting can be fictional and non fictional just like any other game. It is a very well created and exciting genre of gaming.

I do not like fighting games because most of the time this is how violence occurs with younger children and fighting games. I have a nephew who is three years old and he loves to play video games, but most of the time we try to avoid buying him fighting games because of what has happen over years. Kids go to school and try to perform an act that was made on the game and they are not trying to harm another student they just want to be like the person on the game and end up hurting another child and the parents get involved and crazy things began to happen.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I am a female I must say that i once was a gamer. Growing up with nothing but, brothers I did what they did. Gaming was fun to me and fightig games were actually my favorite. I enjoyed playing the ready to rumble boxin game and I actually was good at it. Just like you stated in the post I never practiced I just used to click buttons and crossed my fingers and i usually won. Gaming is fun and I actually may have to start doing this in the free time that I do have.
