    Having incredibly fast internet intensifies the way playing online games can be. With a fast broad band internet connection you will dominate the players that have slow internet. But these days having a bad connection can be annoying to experienced gamers. When a player has a bad connection or bad internet speed it could create havoc. With bad connection you could cause the entire game to lag up. Lag causes game mathches to slow up and just go crazy. It causes players to lose complete control of there avatar or the game just crashes and completely destroys the players stats. There is also individual lag where your connection only affects you, that comes from bad connection or a poor internet provider. Players love to have good conections so they can brag about how much better there connection is compared to yours. With it they can host up most games and dominate the players because they have the dominant connection. Just about a few years ago internet gaming use to support dial up connections but nowadays every one has some type of high speed connection. Playing games with a super high speed connection could be the most                     breathtaking experience. With high speed internet it is possible to play the most graphic intense games out there, can also play with people halfway across the globe. The market has made more than 10 billion dollars over high speed internet. Nowadays competition is fast paced and exciting, and keeping up is going to be tough for the lagers.

Role Playing Games

     Role Playing games are games that people play a role as a certain character. Players usually have to follow these roles or maybe even play out there own. Role playing games can be massive or it can be single. They usually tell some type of story. They require you to buid up on a certain character becoming stronger and smarter as you level up a set of stats. Most role playing games are set in massive areas where you can meet others and just about do anything imaginable. RPGs are very fun and adventurous games that will change your life forever if you ever get addicted to them.

Fighting Games

     Fighting games is a genre where the player has to control a character and engage in close combat. The game consists on two players or more fighting in some type of arena for a series of rounds. The player has to master blocking and a series of combinations that goes with his choice of character.  Fighting games became popular in 1976. Most fighting games take pratice to learn and play, while some you just have to press buttons and cross your fingers for a victory. Fighting can be fictional and non fictional just like any other game. It is a very well created and exciting genre of gaming.

Multiplayer Games

     Multiplayer games are the most fun games you can ever play. Multiplayer games are games that more than one person can play with each other in a set environment. Multiplayer games can be on a single console are on the internet with lots of people. These types of games require some pratice so you can compete against some of the best gamers out there. In some cases when no matter how hard you try and compete agaisnt others you still lose. You can always go and play with bots which is a set number of computer genrated characters that you have complete authority over.

Shooter Games

     Shooter games are the most played games to me. They are the ones that most kids cross there fingers for in December. Shooter games tends to test your speed and reaction time. It usually consist of some type of avatar that has a gun going on a killing spree which could be bad or good. There is first person shooters where the camera is in front of the avatar, and the Third-person shooters with the camera behind the avatar. Shooter games can go deeper in their story lines than other games.They require a little knowledge because they will put your senses to the test. They take time to master because their are so many combinations and secrets in gameplay to leanr on oreder to be succesful in this genre.

Joystick

     

     The first joystick was invented around 1944 in Germany. It was originally made for aircraft to control rockets and missiles. In the 1960s the joystick started to become more widespread in radio controlled model aircraft. The first video game joystick was introduced in 1967, it was able to control in all different types of directions.

     Tennis for Two was first introduced on October 18, 1958, was one of the first games created in gamin history. Two would play it with seperate controllers on an analog computer and used an oscilloscope for a screen.

Game of the year!!!

Just bought this game called gears of war 3 and it is by far the best i ever played. The first installment of the game was pretty good but the second was a failure. But gears of war 3 is nice. If you like playing shooter games I highly recommend you check into this game. Its about these hardcore fictional characters set in the distant future fighting for humanity because it is over run by some super mutant aliens called locust. You have to rip throught cities from time to time in order to figure out how to bring about extinctintion to this blood thirst alien race. Its a wonderful game with a story line that goes out with a huge bang.

     In online gaming you can just about find someone to play with at any time. You can just about play against almost every race, ethnicity, country out there. Computer gamers have been playing online games for more than a decade, while console gamers are mainly new to online gaming. Playing games online is mainly new for TV based gamers. Just a couple of years ago three major TV based games were put online. Microsoft's Xbox was the first console TV system game to be introduced to online gaming, they were also the first to charge money to play online. Afterwards the Sony PlayStation and Nintendo systems were introduced to online gaming but they didn't charge unlike Microsoft's Xbox. Playing games online can become extremely addicting. There are thousands of human beings who turns to cyber space to play with, or against, human opponents. Its like a second life away from your original life. You can express yourself or you can just about become anything u want to become. It doesn't matter what's goin on, you can just about find someone to play with online no matter what the time is or what day or event, someone will always be online to play with. Playing video games online can be a good thing and it can also be bad. Its good because you can learn from some of the games like the names of cars and historical buildings and events maybe even a different language. It could benefit you in your social life, you'll meet new people from all over the world and could become good friends with many different types of people. Online video games can also harm you, it could hold you back on your school work even life. So if you got to game hop on because the net can find players 24/7.

Development of the PlayStation 3

Sony revealed the PlayStation 3 to the public on may 16, 2005. The first design was a boomerang shaped prototype of the Ps3 which was first shown at e3. The PlayStation 3 was supposed to be released on November 11, 2006, but it was delayed until March 2007 because of hardware issues. Within 24hrs the ps3 sold approximately 81,639 systems within 24hrs. 

Development of the Xbox 360

The Xbox 360 is the second video console produced by Microsoft. Microsoft Xbox competes with Sony, and Nintendo as part of the seventh generation of video consoles. Before it was created it was titled several different names like Xbox next, xenon, Xbox 2, and Xbox sf and so on. The planning of the Xbox began in February 2003, and in that month an event was held by microsoft for 400 developers in order to recruit support for the system. The Xbox 360 console was released on November 22, 2005 in the united states.

The Different Types of Gamers

     

     In the gaming world there are all sorts of different types of gamers. There are about 8 different types of gamers. There is the casual gamers who are not really claimed to be gamers because they play at ease they don't typically get into those involved games. Casual gamers usually stick to something like a sport game or some type of fitness game that they don't play to often. The genres that casual gamers play vary, and they might not own a specific video game console to play their games. 

     Then there is the mid-core gamer who has a more wide range of interest than the casual gamer but less than a hardcore gamer. Mid-core gamer enjoy complex games but want spend there time buying every release. 

      The hardcore gamer  are the ones who tend to play  more games than the usual. They usually take time to practice and tend to play more involved games that require larger amounts of time to complete or master. Hardcore gamers may seek competition, therefore they would start up clans and enter tournaments, leagues and are just enter anything that gives them good competition. 

     Then there is the professional gamers who tend to play games for money.They can be described as the hardcore gamer but with a salary or some type of pay .They are usually  paid by large companies from playing in major league gaming contests and tournaments. 

     There are also lady gamers and newbies, mainly any female who plays regular and loves it. The percentage of lady gamers is about 43% and still increasing. Newbies or "noobs", is a slang are word for new gamers or a novice. 

     Retrogamer, gamers who play classic arcade and old computer games. They usually collect them are just love to compete with high scores on classic games with other players.

      As you can see there are many types of gamers around the world maybe even the universe.
